Scoop-a-Palooza is an ice cream lover's dream on a hot July day. Ice cream vendors set up shop in the high school’s cafeteria, serving unlimited sample sizes with flavors ranging from the traditional vanilla and chocolate to cinnamon roll. Attendees will vote for their favorites in several categories: Best Vanilla based Flavor, Best Chocolate based Flavor, Best Fruit based Flavor, Best Unique Flavor, Best Sugar Free or Non Dairy Flavor and Kids’ Choice. Our voting is all in good fun but our vendor partners receive medals for a flavor win!  Thanks to them all for participating - please support them throughout the year!

 

​Scoop-a-Palooza, now in its 17th year, is held at Chambersburg Area Senior High School on the second Saturday in July. Scoop benefits the Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation - a 501(c)3 organization – working with educational and business partners to promote education, leadership, and workforce development in Franklin County.
